FALLING INTO WINTER

The difficult season for this Heliophile (sun lover) is starting! Short days, grey skies, less outdoor time. Flowers and pumpkins are done for the year. It is not my fave, but it is the time of dreaming and scheming. We are buttoning down the farm. Planting bulbs, planting Peonies, digging Dahlias, and doing as much pre-spring clean-up and work as possible! 2026 seeds are ready to be planted and the field plan is in the works!
Every year we learn so much, and really just keep finetuning who we want to be as flower-pumpkin farmers. We think we are on our way to making WildStem Farm into a vision we didn't know we had 3 years ago. We appreciate all of our customers, our social media followers, and everyone who visited this year. It has been quite the self-journey to figure out that, as a shy fairly private person, I truly love seeing people enjoy our space like we do. Who knew?!

MEET US
Hi! We are Barry & Rebecca Sterner, the owners of Wild Stem Farm and Rue & Sage flowers. We have a two acre field that we are growing flowers and pumpkins in! Besides being flower and pumpkin obsessed, we chase 3 dogs and 3 cats around, go junk-tiquing when we can, travel a little, hang out with family and friends, drink a little wine, and oh ya! Work at our off farm jobs during the week. Barry is a mortgage officer (he can help you buy a house!) and Rebecca works for a local commerical row crop farm (she's the farm girl!).
FRESH LOCAL GROWN FLOWERS
We sell self-serve, honor system market bouquet style flowers at our partner businesses Ernies Quality Meats and Fine Wines and Favored Farmhouse in Moses Lake. We also have a at home self-serve flower stand called the 'Petal Porch'. The flower stands are stocked with fresh flowers on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
