SUMMER!

It was a wild spring! For the first time, we actually had flowers to sell in May! And have kept going since. Our schedule right now is on a week to week basis. By mid to end of July we should be on a more regular schedule. We are in clean-up mode at the farm, trying to control the explosion of weeds that has happened!
Event Items: We are planning our Open House in the flower field for Thursday, September 19th. Like last year, will have fun vendors, build your own bouquet bar, and pumpkins! We will also be doing some bouquet classes at the farm this summer We are still firming up dates for those, we will announce here and on social media when those will be. We hope you are having a fabulous summer so far!

MEET US
Hi! We are Barry & Rebecca Sterner. We started Rue & Sage in our backyard five years ago. Now we have a two acre field that we are growing flowers and pumpkins in! Besides being flower and pumpkin obsessed, we have two young adult children, we chase 3 dogs and 3 cats around, go junk-tiquing when we can, travel a little, hang out with family and friends, drink a little wine, and oh ya! Work at our off farm jobs during the week. Barry is a mortgage officer (he can help you buy a house!) and Rebecca works for a local commerical row crop farm (she's the farm girl!).
FRESH LOCAL GROWN FLOWERS
We sell fresh flowers weekly at our farmstand (The Petal Porch) and at our favorite Moses Lake businesses. We usually have fresh flowers from May thru October. We believe in the honor system and have built our business model based on that. We came up with the original idea to partner with local business to put our fresh flower mini stands in several locations in Moses Lake! We dabble in dried florals through the winter. This summer we are adding fun flower classes at the farm along with at leas one vendor event (last falls was so magical!)! Maybe two this year.......
